Reporting Capabilities

TRS generates reports via a commercial off-the-shelf product called Business Objects (BO). These reports may be either standard reports or customized reports. Standard reports are accessed online by enrolled users and may be downloaded in PDF, Excel and CSV formats.

Users may also customize standard reports by various search criteria and save the customized report to a personal folder. In addition, users have the ability to define a scheduled frequency for which customized reports will be generated.

Sample TRS Reports

TRS invites you to explore three different sets of reports. Before you use the links below, here is some information that will help you read the sample reports. Each set of reports begins with a summary report and is followed by a corresponding detail report. Text appearing in blue on the sample report reflects where a hyperlink would be available in a TRS report. The hyperlink would allow the user working in TRS to drill down into the detail for that item. Sample reports available below are PDFs of reports, and as such, they do not contain functional capability.

Below are report descriptions and links to individual report samples:

Voucher Report:

The Voucher Report provides the user with a list of vouchers which match selected search criteria entered by the user. The report displays vouchers sent by a collections source or settlement mechanism that has been or will be reported to GWA. The user may select a specific voucher and view additional voucher information.

Voucher Detail Report:

The Voucher Detail Report allows the user to drill down from the Voucher Report to view all of the information about the selected voucher received by TRS from a collections source or settlement mechanism.

Financial Transaction Summary Report:

The Financial Transaction Summary Report provides the user a listing of financial transactions which match search criteria entered by the user.This may include non-financial transactions that are not associated with a voucher. From this report, users can launch a report displaying the voucher details, as well as a report displaying all the details of a selected financial transaction.

Financial Transaction Detail Report:

The Financial Transaction Detail Report allows the user to “drill down” from the Financial Transaction Summary Report to view all of the information about the selected financial transaction. The Reported Classification and Program Data displayed on the report are associated with the Business Transaction.

Fedwire Message Summary Report:

The Fedwire Message Summary Report provides the users with a list of Fedwire messages which match selection criteria entered by the user. From this report, users can launch a report displaying the voucher details as well as a report displaying all of the details of a selected Fedwire transaction.

Fedwire Detail Report:

The Fedwire Detail Report allows the user to “drill down” from the Fedwire Message Summary Report to view all of the details of a selected Fedwire message.
