Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS)
GTAS replaced the functionality of FACTS I, FACTS II, IFCS, IRAS, and SID reporting systems as the primary means of reporting agency trial balance data. A single data collection system will pave the way for more consistent and complete financial data and will allow for better analytical reporting. Effective the first reporting window of FY 2015, all Federal Agencies are required to have transitioned to GTAS.
GTAS Official Go-Live Formal Reporting Window for FY 2014 A Success
With support from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the agencies, Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service) successfully completed GTAS's first reporting window in January 2014 for the 1st Quarter Data - surpassing the budgetary reporting requirement to Congress by providing reporting for over 90% of the expenditure TASs required from GTAS.

GTAS Test Period Update FY 2014
We will continue to have agency testing available in a web based testing environment throughout FY 2014 to help the remaining agencies transition into GTAS. The testing region can be found at the following site: https://qa.gtas.fms.treas.gov.
Agencies wishing to test should send an email to GTAS@fms.treas.gov containing the current GTAS Production User ID of the individual(s) that will test, so the proper SMAF data will be available in the test region.
The reporting window schedule for the GTAS test region will be the following:
