Contractor Lapse Planning

Funding for the federal government to continue operations has been extended through December 23, 2011. Contractors with an active Financial Management Service (FMS) contract are to continue providing goods and/or services to FMS as specified in their contract.

This lists specifies whether your firm should continue providing FMS products/services during a federal government shutdown. You are instructed to monitor this Web site for updated news regarding a government shutdown. In the event of shutdown, firms designated "yes" under the heading "continue during a shutdown" are to continue working. Firms designated "no" are to stop all work. Any firm designated "no" that continues to provide goods or services to FMS during a shutdown will be at risk of not being paid.
